Our Clinical Model
Our Centers for Limb Preservation, Advanced Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Therapy provide a comprehensive medical approach to treating non-healing and diabetic wounds. Upon admission to our Center, an interdisciplinary treatment team headed by a Center physician conducts a comprehensive patient assessment. The assessment results are used to develop an individualized treatment plan, which may include one or a combination of the following treatment modalities:
Vascular Studies- Surgical Interventions/Debridement
- Dressings/Compression Wraps
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
- Bio-engineered Skin Substitutes
- Vacuum Assisted Closure
- Off-Loading, Nutritional and Diabetic Support
Our goal is to achieve desired clinical results in the shortest period of time possible and to enable patients to obtain a higher quality of life and realize a high level of patient satisfaction.
Our Physician Model
Candescent typically works with physicians in one of two ways:
- As an attending physician overseeing the direct treatment of patients as a member of the Center’s physician panel.
- As a private practicing physician referring directly to a panel physician or to the Center itself.
